Impressions
Site specific features
There are two types of inflow routes for attracting customers. One is a pattern in which when new content is posted, it is posted on the top page of the site, and viewed from there. The other is a pattern in which one receives a notification by following the relevant account on the relevant site, which leads to viewing. For example, people who follow me on Ci-en, probably many people reading this article, is it. It is able to be said that they are fans of that person (There are some exceptions because there are haters.). In this case, even if you are not looking at the top page in real time, it is more likely that it will be viewed later. However, if you follow a lot of people, you can’t see all of them, so just because your following doesn’t mean you’ll definitely see them. Aside from bulletin boards and the like, any other site has both aspects, each with different weights. For example, you can follow creators on “Eroge to Kyo”, but I don’t think it’s used much, and I have 0 followers (I’m not the only one with a particularly low number, it seems that most other creators are also in the single digits). It seems that most of the cases are viewed from the place displayed on the top page or sidebar. Itch.io and FANZA doujin are also considered to belong to this category. On the other hand, on Ci-en, new articles are displayed on the top page, but I think most of the readers are followers for the creator. However, posting links to articles on Pixiv tends to increase the number of views, so it is also important to secure inflow routes from other sources. Pixiv seems to have an intermediate character, and most of the views seem to come from people other than followers. Perhaps tags are also important, and R-18G items tend to be viewed extremely often.
Analysis
By the way, looking at the number of downloads of the current “QUEEN of MASSACRE” demo version 2, the largest number is Itch.io, followed by Eroge, and Ci-en / Pixiv is below it. This ranking is reasonable, but looking at the latter figure, I clearly feel the low ability of our circle to transmit. In other words, I can say that I have few followers. However, the number of followers cannot be increased overnight, and we must first and foremost do what we have been doing up until now, which is to steadily produce and publish our work. On the other hand, I feel that I have been neglecting public relations in recent years, and I feel the need to focus on it separately. However, I believe that the most effective promotional action is the announcement of a new work (including trial versions). Naturally, the top pages of Itch.io, Eroge to Kyo, and FANZA doujin have more visitors than Ci-en’s individual account pages, and the fact that the work information is listed there is the greatest advertising. In fact, after the release of the second trial version, the number of followers on Ci-en has increased by nearly 10 people, and I feel a definite response. 10 people may seem like a small number, but after about three and a half years of activity, the number has gradually increased, and now there are about 280 people. (Considering cooperation with Ci-en, it would be best if it could be published on DLsite, but there is nothing we can do about it). By the way, this time I was able to get some very moving data about the number of followers on Ci-en. When the second trial version was released this time, I used the Ci-en function to send a message to all my followers, and the system-message “Sent to 271 people” was displayed. On the same screen, I can also see the number of people who sent messages when the first trial version was released, and the number was 166 people. It’s June 2021. It is calculated that 105 followers have increased in less than 2 years.
This is a small change, but I am hopeful for the number of followers is steadily increasing. And, needless to say, this was possible thanks to the support of each and every one of you reading this, so I cannot help but feel grateful. I would like to express my sincere gratitude.
Production progress report
Enemy character basic image creation
I am currently drawing enemy characters toward the completion of the product version. I am planning to create a total of about 20 enemy characters, but you can see 8 in the trial version. In addition, there is 1 undisclosed character, and a total of 9 enemy characters have been completed. After the release of the second trial version, the basic images of the 2 new characters were completed. We’re going to add to this basic image to create a “damage difference”. We also plan to create “character differences” by changing the face and skin color. Just completing the basic image is only about 30% of the whole. One of them was created this process.

As you can see, it’s a Harpy (something of such type). The ones that have appeared so far have basically been normal humans, but from now on, we plan to introduce this type of non-human enemy character. However, the idea is of course borrowed from the fantasy (original myth), but the world view is an extension of the real world, so I’m going to prepare the settings which are suitable for it.
Human skin drawing research
The production work is always a series of trial and error. The images introduced this time were made relatively quickly, but overall they gave a frivolous impression and lacked a sense of reality. There are probably a number of reasons, but one of them seemed to be the lack of reality in the skin. This is what I felt in step ④ above. I decided to increase the amount of drawings, although it may be one of the reasons that she is fair-skinned. Please see the following image.
Because of the very minute changes, it is difficult to understand as it is, so an image with increased contrast is displayed on the right. The top is the ④ stage, so to speak, a prototype. I applied uneven coloring to express the unevenness of the skin. That’s the second image. In fact, this is not the first time, rather it has been done since the early days of making “QUEEN of MASSACRE”. Maybe more earlier. (Please also refer to my contribution in “Blog Magazine of Emilia-chan 104th”) But I was still not satisfied with it, so I experimented with processing the bottom row. It is the addition of “downy hair”. Since it is an experiment, I draw only on the right foot. The result of this image is different from what I expected, so this process has been deleted for the time being. However, this is probably because the hair is drawn in a crude manner, and it seems that better results can be obtained if the hair is drawn more carefully and precisely. I would like to study how to draw downy hair in the future.
I would like to introduce the image of the newly created second enemy character in a paid article, but I would like to post only a part of it here.
