Progress Report on Production

Following the last update, we are continuing to work on creating images for use in event scenes. However, due to various circumstances, the pace of production has significantly slowed, and it has been difficult to secure enough time for work. Even so, we are gradually accumulating more images. This time, we completed two new motion sequences. There are about six images in total. One depicts a scene where a character’s body is severed. The other shows a character stumbling while trying to flee in panic, ending up on all fours, only to be attacked from behind.

▲The character is attacked while on all fours and has their clothing torn. Note how the harpy’s penis becomes erect at this moment. The continuation of this scene will be published in a paid article.

This event scene involves an indiscriminate attack by an ordinary harpy on civilians, and naturally requires a large number of characters and a wide variety of images. However, at present, we do not yet have a sufficient number prepared.

Our image creation method involves modifying and reusing existing images to construct a sequence of movements. For that reason, we make it a rule to save the original image data with each part separated into its own layer. Unfortunately, in this instance, we were unable to locate the layered version of the side profile for Face Variant A of Enemy Character No. 10 (Harpy), and ended up having to recreate it from scratch. The most difficult part of creating a side profile is drawing the “outline.” Fortunately, if a completed image remains, tracing over it allows for a relatively smooth reconstruction. It wasn’t an extreme time loss, but repeated setbacks like this can accumulate and have an impact. Therefore, we intend to be even more thorough in data management going forward.

▲The original was created for the left side, which was traced to make the right side. The impression changed slightly. The total number of layers was just under 30—fewer than expected.

▲To create expression variations like these, images need to be separated into layers for each part.

The production pace remains slow, but we will continue moving forward step by step toward completion. All created images can be viewed in the paid article of Ci-en.
